Our recruitment process
When you instruct through Carter Brown you can be assured that all our experts have been through a rigorous recruitment process prior to being offered any assessments. We complete this process to ensure the highest quality experts and reports for and is at no additional cost to our clients.
1
Application Review
We begin by thoroughly reviewing each application to ensure candidates meet our initial criteria.
2
Screening
Each expert must have a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in their chosen field. We also review anonymised reports to assess their quality and relevance and check each expert’s registration with their regulatory body.
3
Interview
Experts undergo a remote interview with a member of our management team, to evaluate their suitability, experience and assessment skills.
4
Qualification Checks
We perform rigorous checks on registration with relevant bodies (e.g. HCPC, SWE, GMC), verify qualification certificates, and obtain two references from previous employers.
5
ID and DBS Checks
Enhanced DBS checks are carried out, and we require three forms of identification. We also ensure that professional indemnity and public liability insurance of £2million is in place.
6
Monitoring
Our assessor support process incudes strict management of caseloads, professional consultation, access to free training, and quality checks on each report.
