On 7th March, we were excited to welcome Social Workers from all around the country to our latest training event on Connected Persons assessments.
This one day training course, facilitated by Karina Ghani, looked at best practice in undertaking Connected Persons assessments, the collection of relevant information and how to provide a robust analysis of this. It considered the legislative/regulatory backdrop to these placements and the implications of the same for both the car…er and the subject child.
The event received some excellent feedback, which is listed below:
“Very good delivery, excellent speaker. I will be registering with Carter Brown and will make it my duty to attend other training.”
“Very good and insightful.”
“Excellent, the speaker had good knowledge and was very informative.”
“A very interesting day. Well presented by Karina.”
“Fantastic training course. Very informative and interactive. I enjoyed the group discussions the content met my expectations. Thank you very much. Fantastic refreshments and lunch provided as well, would not fault it. I found the content very useful and it enhanced my assessment skills.”
“Absolutely invaluable knowledge and information given. Karina also gave loads of references to use in assessments. A great course incorporating the wide dimensions of Connected Persons Assessments.”
“The course was enjoyable and informative and, as a NQSW struggling to complete two Connected Persons assessments, it helped me see through some of ‘the fog’ which surrounds them sometimes.”
We hold numerous training events throughout the year, relevant to numerous disciplines. Places are available for both internal and external experts. For more information on up and coming events, and to book your place, email James at firstname.lastname@example.org.
