Dr Maria D has over 18 years experience of psychological assessments – including expert witness work – as well as working therapeutically within the NHS with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Her areas of expertise include: complex reactions to trauma, risk assessment pertaining to abuse and neglect, mental health and the impact on parenting, personality disorder diagnoses, psychosis, eating disorders, PTSD, domestic violence, substance misuse, assessment and treatment of victims of torture, cognitive functioning, family dynamics and the parent’s ability to care/change and work with professionals.
