Having worked in psychology settings since 1991, Dr Julie H is able to assess adults, children and families for a range of medico-legal issues in the family and criminal law sphere. She can prepare expert witness reports covering: risk (violent, sexual and other offending/ self-harm), offending or harmful behaviour, cognitive functioning, capacity, mental health, learning disability, recidivism risk, identification of treatment needs and risk reduction planning, harm as a result of abuse and other crime, trauma, therapeutic need and family issues. Her specialisms lie in the assessment of children and young people in relation to offending, child protection and safeguarding, and she is also able to offer post-sentence recommendations for disposal and treatment.
