Geraldine H has worked as a Clinical Psychologist in the National Health Service (NHS) since 1995, and as a Consultant Psychologist since 2003. She was previously trained as a Psychiatric Nurse and therefore have over 30 years of clinical experience in mental health.
As a clinical psychologist she has been trained in the interpretation of a range of psycho-metric measures, in conducting specialist clinical interviews and in the assessment and treatment of complex psychological problems.
Geraldine’s expertise include ICD-10 and DSM-V disorders (e.g. depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress dis-order, psychosis, bipolar, personality disorder), personality disorders including psychopathy, risk of domestic and general violence, risk of sexually harmful behaviours, arson, cognitive functioning, attachment styles, substance misuse, malingering, capacity to parent, anger, stalking, self-harm and suicidal ideation, motivation to change and capacity to respond to treatments.
