Dr V. H is a HCPC registered, Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist. They are listed on the British Psychological Society Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists and holds the Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology – the “Gold Standard†qualification which signifies the highest level of skill and expertise in the field of neuropsychology.
Dr V.H undertakes independent assessments in a variety of areas and writes reports for the courts relating to family, civil and criminal court proceedings. They provide expert, objective assessment of psychological wellbeing and neuropsychological functioning using standardised and validated psychometric measures alongside clinical interview and reviewing records.
Dr V.H has a wealth of expertise including assessment of long-term cognitive disorders, including learning disability, assessment following acquired brain injury and stroke, assessment of dementia and other degenerative diseases, assessing the neurological effects of psychiatric illness, assessing the psychological impact of injury and illness, fitness to plead assessments and assessment of mental capacity.
