Dr Peter F has extensive experience (thirty years) in conducting assessment work with people with learning disability (including people with Autistic Spectrum Condition), developing formulations to enable understanding of individual needs, developing constructive support and intervention plans and evaluating outcomes of these plans in terms of socially valid improvements in the person’s quality of life. His preferred model for this work is that of Positive Behavioural Support.

Dr Peter has a number of areas of expertise including assessment of cognitive functioning, assessment of adaptive behaviour, capacity assessment, assessment of fitness to plead, assessment of capacity to instruct solicitors, assessment of adults with intellectual disability, autistic spectrum condition, including adult Asperger assessment, assessment and analysis of challenging behaviour, neuropsychological assessment, assessment of mental health problems in adults with intellectual disability, depression in adults, anxiety disorder in adult, psychosis in (young) adult, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, risk assessment – adults with intellectual, disability (in relation to offending behaviour, self-harm, risk to others) and specialist assessments – emotional dysregulation, sexuality, anger problems.
